Sunday in the Vineyards

After another nice breakfast at Steiger House, we headed out.  It was raining, so we decided to spend some time at the Evergreen Air & Space Museum.  Quite a fascinating place.  They have three large buildings and an IMAX theater.  This is where the Spruce Goose is now on display, along with tons of old war planes, and an interesting exhibit about the space program.  Well worth a visit. 

Yes, that is a 747 on top of  the building! It is being outfitted with 4 water slides that will go from the plane into the building where they will have a large wave pool.  It's the new waterpark, opening in June of this year, and all the local kids are thrilled.

We skipped the IMAX (no 3D love from this crowd), and headed out for a bit of a drive to more wineries.  We had a great stop at Left Coast Winery, where we found a delicious lunch:

By early afternoon, the weather cleared and we started to see some sun

We enjoyed our tour of the vineyards, as well as the great Oregon Pinot Noir.
